Prafull Sawant

Prafull B. Sawant was born in 1979 at Nasik, India . He has long been considered one of the foremost Realistic artists in the world.    He is a highly sought after around the world for his demonstrations, international workshops, lectures and exhibits. He has been invited for the international watercolor and oil colors workshops from the famous academies & schools from France,Switzerland  ,Austria ,Germany ,Italy ,Malta ,Spain, Bulgaria, China ,Russia, Israel, UAE , Philippines, Peru, Maleysia . till yet he successfully teched more than 90 workshops internationally for the different countries Students


Has won 48 International awards from across the world for his watercolor, oil and acrylic paintings. He was the first and the only artist from India to win the 148th International Exhibition of American Watercolor Society award held in New York (2015).  His awards include: First Award  at “10th Festival De L Aquarelle” in Aiguillon ,France (Oct 2017),First Award for Oil painting in ” Artistic Excellence International Painting Competition  by Southwest Art Magazine” in Colorado, USA (2011),  “Palm Art Award-Leipzig” from Germany (2011,2014), 1st award USD 4000 at International Watercolor Society’s Homer Love n Peace International Watercolor Festival On location International Watercolor Competition at Bornowa, Turkey In addition to international credits.
He is Global Brand Ambassador of Daniel Smith Artist materials, USA ., Daniel smith Published  Master artist watercolor set under his name as “Daniel Smith Prafull Sawant  Master Artist Watercolor Set”in Oct .2019.,He is only first Indian Artist to get this honor.

He is Only Indian Artist to invited as Honorable Member of IMWA -International Masters of Watercolor Alliance (Registered in Sweden).

Each year he has been invited more than 12 countries for his invitational exhibitions  and watercolor and Oil color Workshops.

He Visited more than 22 Countries for his invitational Exhibition , Demonstration ,Lectures, Interview, and Workshops.
